OUR STORY

Built on Legacy.

Run By Sonographers.

With 30+ years of helping sonographers succeed, we’re here to help you prepare, build your confidence, and walk into your exam ready.

ORIGIN

Est. 1992

We know you need to pass registry exams to get the proper ultrasound credentials. The problem is in this field, there is an enormous amount of content to digest before any exam. In 1992, Dr. Sidney Edelman created a simpler way to help professionals achieve their credentials and enhance their overall ultrasound knowledge. He called it Education for the Sonographic Professional — otherwise known as ESP Ultrasound.

Dr. Edelman has retired from ESP but is known throughout the physics world for his textbook Understanding Ultrasound Physics. Some students affectionately call it the “Green Book.” Others call it the “sonographers’ bible.” As the field of ultrasound expanded, so did the courses offered by ESP.

TODAY

ESP offers registry review across 10 specialties, plus study tools, textbooks, and CMEs.

And we couldn’t do it without our instructors — sonographers who’ve been in the field, know the material, and genuinely care about the people they’re teaching. They’re the heart of what we do.

With 30+ years of creating successful learners, we can help you prepare to pass your exam and get your certification.

MISSION

Building confidence, developing understanding, and enhancing knowledge to provide better care for others.

We’re a small team of sonographers and educators who believe that better-prepared professionals provide better patient care.
