Dr. Tollefson lectures regularly on both musculoskeletal ultrasound and emergency ultrasound. His relaxed educational style is highly regarded and provides a comfortable classroom environment. Dr. Tollefson has a unique practice at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He is the Director of Emergency Ultrasound Education for the Emergency Medicine residency program. He is also the Program Director for the Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship. In his sports medicine clinic, Dr. Tollefson uses ultrasound extensively for diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal injuries in athletes of all ages.
Dr. Tollefson holds RMSK and RDMS (abdomen) credentials. With his clinical skill, broad experience, and great educational skills, Dr. Tollefson is exceptionally qualified to teach ESP’s MSK review course.
Dr. Tollefson’s twelve-hour course provides outstanding registry preparation and effective clinical education. It offers participants with a comprehensive introduction to musculoskeletal ultrasound. The program is structured based on the ARDMS exam content outline and includes relevant material on shoulder, elbow, hand/wrist, knee, hip, ankle and foot.
